In November, 1982, as I was splitting wood for my grandfather, an aquaintance showed up to invite me to a revival meeting at his church. Thinking it was a one time commitment, I agreed to attend. That night after hearing a clear presentation of the gospel, I left the service under great conviction. Upon attending the next night, I trusted Christ as Lord and Savior. Thus began the greatest journey imaginable, an opportunity to serve the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ.

When God called me from my motorcross backround, He gave me the opportunity to share my testimony of His saving grace. To my amazement, as I shared the gospel, more people received Christ as their Savior. This confirmed for me that God was calling me into the ministry.

During the next seven years, I attended a Bible institute, graduated from Bible college, and attended seminary. Following Bible training, God gave me the privilege of serving Him by pastoring youth. Those twelve years of serving Christ passed quickly. In 1999, God led my family and me to leave my home church to pastor Open Bible Baptist Church. It has been my privilege and honor to serve our church and community with the gospel through various ministries. In addition, God has raised up members to serve Him through various outreach ministries.

Come join us and let's serve the Lord Jesus Christ, the One Who deserves all the glory.
